Jeffrey Andre Amos Obituary
Jeffrey Andre Amos, 65, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on September 11, 2023, at his home in Oostanaula of natural causes. He had a history of heart disease. He was born on November 23, 1957.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by parents Roy and Virginia G. Amos, who moved to Calhoun from Atlanta in 1963.
He attended the University of Georgia and Dalton State College, and graduated from Kennesaw State College with an accounting degree. He worked most of his career at Reliable Health Care in Rome. He was an ardent fisherman, gardener, and hunter, and loved Americana music.
Jeffrey is survived by a sister, brother-in-law and nephew, Dawn, Jim, and Will McFadden, of Chattanooga, TN, and several cousins and aunts.
A memorial service led by Rev. Greg Powell will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Mr. Amos' ashes will be scattered according to his wishes in a private service conducted by his family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions of money or non-perishable food should be made to the Voluntary Action Center of Calhoun, Ga.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Jeffrey Andre Amos.
