Obituary
Guest Book
With heaviest of hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved, Jeffrey Eric Arntson, who left this Earth on September 10th, 2025 at the age of 61. He was at home in Jenison, MI with loved ones by his side.
He is survived in death by his spouse of 38 years, Susan Gordon Arntson. His 4 children Rachael Arntson Currie (Najee), Josh Arntson (Kathryn), Marissa Arntson Jose (Josh), Jake Arntson (Dawson). His father Gary Arntson, siblings Randy Arntson (Kristine) and Jodie Miller (Neil). And of course the people who gave him his favorite title as Papa, his grandchildren; Amari, Jordyn, Leighton, Sienna and Brooks.
Jeff’s biggest pride was his family which also included the large extended family he leaves behind as well. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, too many cousins to count and the friends of his children that he took in as his own. Many of whom he spent countless summers vacations with in his favorite place, Harbor Springs. The love for family was the foundation of who he was as a person, and how he raised his children.
Jeff was a caregiver in every sense of the word—not only by profession, but by nature. Devoting a majority of his life to the Chiropractic Clinic he shared with his wife Susan. He helped so many here, by caring for their physical health, by putting others first, offering a listening ear without judgment, or just making sure you felt seen and heard. He also dedicated countless hours of his life to golf, coaching little league baseball and cheering his children on in all of their endeavors sporting and otherwise. So many of his loved ones cherished memories were spent on the course, the field and in a gymnasium.
He always managed to bring the laughter and joy to everything he did, making the moments spent with him simply unforgettable. Though he never asked for recognition, his legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the love he gave. His love wasn’t loud, but it was constant—steady as the sun, and just as life-giving.
A service to honor and celebrate Jeff’s life will be October 12th, 2025. 1-4pm. Celebration will be open house style. So please come and join us for as long or as little as you feel.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you carry forward his legacy: extend kindness, help someone in need, and always make time for those you love. Rest peacefully, Papa. You gave us everything—your time, your strength, your heart. We’ll carry your love with us, always.
