Jeffrey Michael Bryant was born on May 13, 1983 and grew up in
Kansas City, Kansas, where he spent time in his grandfather's church and gave his heart to the Lord. He lived a life rooted in love, service, and connection.
Jeffrey was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend-roles that defined him at his core. He shared 19 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Cindy, building a life grounded in partnership, commitment, and family.
From their union, they welcomed their daughter, Laila Michelle Bryant, who was one of Jeffrey's greatest joys. He was a deeply loving and present father, taking pride in guiding, protecting, and supporting his child with unwavering care.
Jeffrey was known for his warm spirit and open heart. He never met a stranger-if you met Jeffrey, you felt known, welcomed, and valued. His ability to connect with people left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
Jeffrey proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he combined his technical skill and artistic eye as a photographer and videographer. Through his work, he documented moments of service, connection, and history, capturing stories that will live on beyond the lens. His military service reflected his discipline, intelligence, and commitment to excellence.
He was a Class of 2001 graduate from Turner High School and earned his Associate's degree from Johnson County Community College. After his service in the Army, he continued to develop his skills by earning his Bachelor's degree from UMKC. He shared his knowledge as an Adjunct professor for the Academy of Art University.
Jeffrey was highly technical and exceptionally gifted, making meaningful contributions in the field of UX Design. Among his notable achievements, he took great pride in helping design the Switch for Nintendo, a reflection of his innovation, precision, and problem solving abilities. His visual skills and understanding of client needs helped him design websites for Fortune 500 companies.
Creativity flowed through every part of Jeffrey's life. He loved to draw and express himself through art and photography. Music was another passion, and he found joy playing the drums and the piano. He also loved to travel and experience new cultures, with Japan holding a special place in his heart as one of his favorite destinations.
Above all, Jeffrey treasured time with his family. He was present, thoughtful, and deeply connected to those he loved most.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Cindy, his children Brandon, Taya, Jamal, and Laila, his parents Jeff and Crystal Bryant, and his siblings Amanda Bryant and Derek Bryant, along with a host of extended family members and friends.
Jeffrey will be remembered for his brilliant mind, creative soul, faithful service, and the love he gave so freely. His legacy will live on through his family, his work, and the many lives he touched.
