Jeffrey Brandon Deaton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Brandon Deaton, a beloved son, father, and friend, who left us on December 20, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on September 28, 1970, in Tucker, Georgia, Jeff was an only child of Bernice and Michael Deaton, who nurtured him with love and instilled in him the values of compassion and service.
As a proud Marine veteran, Jeff displayed unmatched courage and dedication, serving as a Marine Corps Scout Sniper during the Gulf War, where he underwent rigorous sniper training at Quantico. His commitment to his country exemplified his character and left a legacy of bravery that family and friends will forever remember.
Jeff was a loving father to his son, Brandon Chase Deaton. His family was always at the center of his life, and he cherished the moments spent with them, particularly those during fishing and hunting trips, although he found great joy in simply watching the world around him in later years.
The love Jeff had for animals, especially his cherished German Shepherd, Atlas, showcased his gentle spirit and nurturing heart. His bond with his beloved mother, Bernice, was particularly poignant, as he often expressed gratitude for her unwavering support and guidance throughout his life.
In honor of Jeff's life, a memorial service will be held at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel on December 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place at 2:00 PM, allowing friends and family to gather and share memories.
As we say goodbye to Jeffrey Brandon Deaton, we hold on to the memories of his laughter, his kindness, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire us all.
