Jeffrey Eliason Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Warenski Funeral Home on Oct. 26, 2024.
Jeffrey Wayne Eliason completed his earthly journey in the early morning of October 23rd, 2024. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife, Michelle, holding his hand. We know that he was welcomed to the other side with open arms by his mom, dad, sister, and many others.
Jeff was born on August 27, 1961 in Logan, Utah to Robert Wayne Eliason and Carla Jean Cooper Brenchley. Raised in American Fork, he played baseball and basketball, performed in the jazz and marching band, and served as student body president in both junior and high school. After serving a mission in Guatemala, he married the love of his life, Michelle, and together they fell in love with Texas.
Jeff was the definition of optimism, kind-heartedness, and unconditional love. Affectionately known by his family as "The Mayor," Jeff seemed to be known by everyone wherever he went. Regardless of the circumstances, he made people feel important and let them know they were his friend. Through his sales & marketing career, church callings particularly in Texas, and his lifelong friends, his influence reaches far beyond those in his innermost circle.
With Michelle by his side, he did all he could to never miss a moment with the ones he loved. His greatest joy was spending time with his family at home, dance recitals, sports games, and reunions. When he and Michelle weren't supporting other people, they were supporting each other, talking, laughing, and singing together.
More than anything, he loved his grandchildren, David, Joseph, Oliver, Leo, Noah, Luna, Tenley, Bronson, and Max. They were the light of his life.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Michelle LaComb Eliason, as well as his children and their spouses, Jeffrey and Marina Eliason, Jordan and Trista Eliason, Meg Eliason, and Theron and McKenzie Long.
A viewing will be held at the American Fork East Stake Center (825 East 500 North, American Fork, UT 84003) on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at the same location on Monday, November 4th, 2024 at 11:00 AM, with an additional viewing prior from 9:30-10:30 AM. For those who are unable to attend in person, the services will be broadcast over Zoom from the following link: https://zoom.us/j/99534260462
In lieu of flowers, the Eliason family asks for donations to the Norton Thoracic Institute: https://www.supportstjosephs.org/donatetonortonthoracicinstitute

Jeff was a coworker who eventually became my manager at Natures Way. He was one of my favorite managers in my career. He had the right combination of knowledge and also human empathy, thoughtfulness, and sensitivity which made his staff want to do well for him. He had our back. I actually looked forward to working with him. He was truly a good person. I met Michelle at one of our meetings and she was a perfect match for him! Picture below from our sales meeting in Jackson Hole. My sincere condolences go out to his family. May he rest in peace.

Michelle is sunshine that always brightens our day. Her song was "Pick Up Your Troubles and Just Be Happy". Her love for Jeff was forever serving him and accomplishing things with him together side by side. Our sympathy and love are with the Eliason family. We love all of you.

I was at Michelle's house the night of her first date with Jeff. She was so pretty and quietly excited/nervous about the date. Who could imagine what would unfold? Over the next couple of years while I was on my mission, Michelle married Jeff and Joni married my Dad. I loved hanging out with Jeff, Michelle and baby Jeffrey in Highland on the weekends while I was attending BYU and driving back and forth to Texas. It was like they absorbed me into their lives and accepted me which is just what I needed. They were/are my family. Love you Jeff
