Jeffrey L. Follett, 65, of Pierson, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025. Born on January 30, 1960, Jeff was a proud graduate of Tri County High School, where he earned recognition as an outstanding student and athlete. He excelled in basketball, track and field, and baseball, remembered for his talent, teamwork, and dedication both on and off the field. He then attended Ferris State College where he studied auto body. Jeff worked for 33 years at Starr Truck Rental, where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic. He also served 22 years in the Army National Guard where he achieved the rank of Captain. Outside of work, he found joy in the outdoors-he especially loved camping and spending time in nature, where he felt most at peace. He is survived by his loving mother, Sharron Follett; his siblings, Scott Follett (Martha) and Shelly Kennedy (Jim); and his longtime girlfriend, Shelly Benjamin. Jeff also shared a deep bond with Shelly's family, including her grandson Archie, who brought him great joy and pride. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Follett. Jeff will be remembered for his calm and kind spirit, his loyalty to loved ones, and his quiet appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Graveside services will be held at Reynolds Township Cemetery on July 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
