Raymond J. Follett, 68 of Gloversville passed away Sunday August 17,2025 at Mt. Valley Hospice after a long illness with his family by his side. Born in Gloversville he was the son of the late David and Virginia Ferguson Follett. Raymond was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed music, reading history books, the outdoors, taking long trips, and spending time with his friends and family. Survived by his sisters, Lucinda and Nancy Follett, and Roseanne (Philip) Frye, Uncle Robert Crose, nephews, Philip Frye, William and Jacob Shelmandine, and great nephew Brady Shelmadine, and several cousins. Pre-deceased by his great nephew, Ryan Frye. At the request of the family there will be no funeral services at this time.
