Jeffrey Fox Obituary
Published by Legacy from Oct. 1 to Oct. 10, 2025.
Jeffrey C. Fox, known affectionately as Jeff to friends and family, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, in Skidway Lake, Michigan. Born on January 2, 1955, in Pontiac, Michigan, Jeff's life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and generosity.
Jeff's journey began in the heart of Michigan, where he grew up surrounded by a loving family. His parents, Ralph and Juanita (Jividen) Fox, instilled in him values of hard work and kindness, which he carried throughout his life. Although he was predeceased by his parents, his son Jack, and his brother Tim, Jeff's spirit was shaped by their influence and the joyous times they shared.
On October 13, 1973, Jeff married his soulmate, Sherry, in a beautiful ceremony in Lake Orion. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, welcoming their son Jeffrey Fox, and their daughter Tonia Lomerson. His son Tony Wagner also held a special place in his heart. Jeff was a pillar of strength and support for his family, always there with a joke to lighten the mood or a helping hand when needed.
As a proud grandfather, Jeff cherished every moment with his grandchildren: Vanessa, Aden (and his wife Cora) Lomerson, Drake, Kayli, Deven, August, and Margo. His legacy will live on through their memories and the stories they will pass down to future generations.
Jeff's siblings, Jerry and Ralph Fox, and sisters Rhoda (Mike) Bringard and Kathy Farnsworth, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, will remember him for his unwavering support and the joy he brought to family gatherings.
Jeff attended Lake Orion High School, Jeff went on to master the craft of a machinist. His skill and dedication to his work were matched only by his commitment to his colleagues and the associations he was involved with throughout his career.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff was a man of diverse interests and passions. He reveled in the great outdoors, often found camping with family and friends. A sports enthusiast, Jeff's heart beat strongest for the Detroit Lions and Tigers, and he never missed a University of Michigan football game. His love for NASCAR and drag racing was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to connect with others and share his excitement and enthusiasm for the sport.
Jeff's love for golf was not just about the game but the camaraderie and friendships formed on the green. His laughter could be heard from one hole to the next.
To describe Jeff as loving, funny, and generous barely scratches the surface of the man he was. His humor brought smiles to countless faces, his kindness touched numerous lives, and his generosity knew no bounds. Jeff lived his life with an open heart, welcoming all who crossed his path and leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on October 18, 2025, from 1pm to 5pm at the Lake Orion Eagles Club located at 317 W. Clarkston Rd, Lake Orion, MI. 48362.
