Cynthia Lorenc Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 15, 2025.
Cynthia J. Lorenc, a beacon of kindness and generosity, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on September 10, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to Joseph and Sophie Agdorny Krzeminski, Cynthia grew up in a home filled with love and music, qualities that would define her throughout her life.
Cynthia was a graduate of Cody High School in Detroit, where she first discovered her passion for music. She furthered her education at Wayne State University, earning a bachelor's degree in music education. Her love for music was only surpassed by her love for teaching, which she pursued with enthusiasm and dedication, touching the lives of countless students along the way.
After a fulfilling career as a music educator, Cynthia explored various paths, including real estate and a role as a salesperson at Home Depot, where she continued to spread her warmth and friendliness to all those she encountered. Her innate ability to connect with people from all walks of life made her successful in every venture she undertook.
Cynthia's interests extended beyond her professional life. She was an avid gardener, creating beautiful flower gardens that reflected the beauty she brought into the world. Her love for cats was well-known, and she provided a loving home to several feline companions over the years.
Those who knew Cynthia will remember her for the kindness she showed to everyone, her friendly demeanor that never failed to lift spirits, and her generous nature that knew no bounds. She was a light in the community and the embodiment of compassion.
Cynthia was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Gregory Lorenc, and her brother, Robert Krzeminski and his wife Marilyn. Cynthia's legacy also lives on through the many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember their aunt's warmth and guidance.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Krzeminski, her mother, Sophie Agdorny, her brother Joseph Krzeminski, and sisters Carol Krzeminski and Barbara Timber.
Cynthia's life was a melody composed of joyful moments, shared experiences, and the harmonious impact she had on those around her. As we bid farewell to Cynthia J. Lorenc, we celebrate the symphony of her life, which will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her. Her spirit, like her beloved music, will echo through time, a testament to a life well-lived and a woman dearly loved.
