Jeffrey Scott Freeman

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Freeman (Jeff), beloved teacher and passionate educator, who passed away on April 30th, 2025 at the age of 61.
He was a cherished member of the Hollywood Hills High School community, where he dedicated his life to teaching and inspiring students.
Jeffrey was a devoted teacher in the Film Production Arts department at Hollywood Hills High School. He often said that teaching was the best job he ever had, and his love for his students and the subject matter was evident in everything he did. He believed in the power of education and worked tirelessly to nurture the talents and dreams of the young minds who walked through his classroom doors.
His passion for film was matched only by his dedication to fostering a creative and collaborative environment in the classroom. His ability to make the complexities of film production accessible and enjoyable to students left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of learning from him. His warmth, humor, and unwavering belief in the potential of his students made him not just a teacher, but a mentor and friend.
Jeffrey is survived by his sisters: Lela Lynch and Donna O'neil-Green and his niece and nephews: Daniel Lynch, Jason Lynch, Rebecca Lynch, Nikke Early and Matt Early.
A Memorial Gathering to honor his life will be held at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care on May 29th, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM located at 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
In lieu of flowers you may donate to a scholarship created in Jeff Freeman's name to assist students graduating from The TV Production or Career Tech Programs. Checks can be made out to Hollywood Hills High School. Thank you.
