MILLERSBURG - Jeffrey Charles Greider, age 61, of Millersburg, Pennsylvania, died May 1, 2025, at the Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital. He was born on September 26, 1963 in Harrisburg, PA, the son of [the late] Charles Greider and Kathryn (Jenkins) Brown who survives him in Millersburg. He is also survived by his sister, Diane L. Potteiger, Halifax, Neice, Danielle E. and husband Carlos Reyes, and nephew Thomas A. Potteiger III and his wife, Katie.
Jeff attended the Halifax Area School District and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Millersburg, and enjoyed attending God's Puzzle Pieces at Hillside Church, Millersburg. Jeff was born with Spinabifida and fought a battle against his condition all his life. Although Jeff had physical challenges, he enjoyed taking in sports. The Philadelphia Phillies, Penn State Football, going to concerts, fairs, carnivals and shopping. He also enjoyed firetrucks and was a big fan of the Millersburg and Wiconisco Fire Companies. In spite of his many setbacks, he always had a smile and a gentle, positive attitude.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to First United Methodist Church or the Millersburg Ambulance Association.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Merakey for their dedicated service and care. Jeff was a part of their family for almost 50 years.
