Dr. Jeffrey Hertz

Dr. Jeffrey Hertz, 53 of Hollywood, Florida passed away April 21, 2023. Beloved husband of Lorie; loving father of Rigley; loving son of Barbara Hertz; beloved brother of Christy Hertz; cherished uncle of Sofia, Jessica, Matthew, and Alexa.
Jeffrey obtained his medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine and underwent general surgery training at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. He completed a fellowship at the University of Kentucky and received additional endovascular training at the Arizona Heart Institute. Board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General and Vascular Surgery, He worked in the Memorial Healthcare system for nearly 20 years, dedicating his career to vascular surgery and saving lives.
Jeffrey was an avid fan of all South Florida sports, but he was especially passionate about the University of Miami Hurricanes. He absolutely adored his dog Rigley, enjoyed great food, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Jeffrey will be missed by all who knew him.
