It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jeffrey Matthew Holland, age 39, of Charlotte, NC.
Jeffrey’s journey on this earth ended on August 3, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and lessons that will never be forgotten.
Jeffrey was an extremely passionate soul who brought energy and warmth to everyone around him. He loved his family and friends fiercely and will be remembered for his loyalty, sense of humor, and compassion. He leaves behind memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Holland. We take comfort in knowing they are together again.
He is survived by his father, Jeffrey W. Holland; his sisters, Shonda Lee and her wife Miriam Lee, Jessica Holland, and Angela Wiegert and her husband Matthew Wiegert; and the love of his life, Isabella de Oliveira Barbosa. He also leaves behind his niece and nephews, Dylan Skinner, Jalen Holland, Aven Holland, Sophia Payne, and his great-niece Addyson Skinner.
Jeffrey’s chosen family included his brothers Devin MacArthur, Will Agnew, Michael Hamrick, Orlando Kyser, Hai Cao, Alvarez Powell, Christopher Payne, his sister, Vicky Cummings, and all of Charlotte.
Jeffrey’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved him, and his spirit will forever be part of our lives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, located at 700 Heckle Boulevard, Rock Hill, SC 29730. Visitation will immediately follow the service.
