Karen Roach Chrisley, 69, of Rock Hill, SC, and Punta Gorda, FL, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, August 10, 2025, surrounded by her friends and family. She was born January 26, 1956, in Rock Hill, SC, to the late Eugene B. Roach Sr and Ethel Ferrell Roach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Marvin M. Thompson.
She leaves a lasting legacy of joy to be cherished by her survivors, her husband of 31 years Johnny Chrisley; sister Marie Thompson of Rock Hill, brother Eugene B. Roach Jr. (Sonny) and wife Linda of Rock Hill, SC and niece Kimberly (Tim) Roach Arnold of Mt. Carmel, TN; step-son Toby (Wendy) Chrisley of Fort Mill, SC; step-daughter Misty (Matt) O’Donnell of Blythewood, SC; She was Nena to grandsons, Thomas (Lakin) Chrisley of Morgantown, WV, Tillman Chrisley of Fort Mill and Patrick and Pierce O’Donnell of Blythewood.
Karen excelled in her career at Duke Energy and later as a real estate agent, but her primary occupation was always making people, places and everything she touched more beautiful. She fully embraced her gift for spreading joy and her love for Christ. While she loved shopping, traveling, sunsets, and nice cars, it was her relationships with family and friends that she treasured the most.
Karen was a lifetime member of VFW Post 2889 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 34 of Rock Hill. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of EAGLES 3296 of Port Charlotte, FL, and the Punta Gorda, FL Elks 2606.
Reverend Ronnie Boone of Ebenezer Baptist Church and Reverend Evan Frazier of Neely’s Creek ARP will officiate a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, August 16, 2025. The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm in the sanctuary, and the service will begin at 3:00 pm at 974 Neely's Creek Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29730.
For those attending the memorial, please wear something happy to honor the joy Karen brought to everyone she encountered.
