Jeffrey King

Jeffrey A. King, 62, of Bellefonte, passed away peacefully from this earth while surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, August 5, 2024, at home. Born on June 30, 1962, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Harry B. King and Anna R. (Bowmaster) Delaney of Jersey Shore. Just shy of 37 years ago, on October 8, 1987, in Jacksonville, he married the love of his life, Dianna L. Rhoads, who survives.
Jeff was a 1980 graduate of Bellefonte High School. He was a manufacturing technician for Corning Glass and for Hilex Poly in Bellefonte and then worked janitorial for the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in State College.
Jeff liked to watch football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Penn State Nittany Lions. He enjoyed time spent in the great outdoors. He liked to hunt, go to hunting camp, camping in general, and looked forward to spending time at their river lot in Jersey Shore. He was a happy, fun loving man who enjoyed making others laugh with his jokes. He loved his wife and children above all else and treasured family, cherishing each moment he was able to spend with his family.
Along with his mother and wife, Jeff is survived by his children, Kristine "Krissy" King and Kyle King, both of Bellefonte; four siblings, Kevin King (Nina) of Julian, Randy King (Alice) of Grassflat, Cindy Merritt of Coleville, and Kim Hall (Glenn) of Bellefonte; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also leaving behind his beloved feline companions.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to so many that assisted in the care of Jeff and his family. They would like to especially thank the nurses of 365 Hospice and Dr. Devkota from Geisinger Danville. The care and compassion you showed to Jeff and his family was greatly appreciated.
