Jeffrey F. Legg
, 62 of Ashville, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Ohio Health Berger in Circleville. He was born June 21, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Delbert and Ella (Mayes) Legg. Jeff was a graduate of Marion-Franklin High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hiking, and he also enjoyed the Scioto Downs Casino.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Tina Simpkins and brother Delbert Legg II.
Jeff is survived by his daughter Clorissa Legg (Joe Cleary); grandchildren Zoie, Kora, Liam, Jayden, Jordan, Kristiannah, and Bryson; several nieces and nephews, and good friend Bill Frost.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with Amvets 2256 Military Service at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville.
In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to Jeff's favorite organization the Disabled Veterans Hunt. Contributions should be made out to The Dan Fout Memorial, Disabled Veterans Hunt and send to the Saving Bank at 201 N Court Street in Circleville 43113, or Attn Bill Frost 5459 Ebright Road in Canal Winchester 43110, or you may bring a contribution to the services.
