Jeffery Lucas, age 73, was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1951. He was adopted by his loving parents, Fordie and Virginia Lucas, who he loved with all his heart. On October 10th, 2024, he left this world surrounded by his family. During his final days of battling Alzheimer's disease, talking about his parents would bring him peace.
Jeff graduated from Longmont High School in1969. After high school he became a journeyman electrician. Jeff transitioned to working at Safeway until his retirement. This transition allowed him to prioritize his family, even though his heart remained in his trade as an electrician and passion as a handy man.
Jeff was a devoted husband, dad, brother, and grandpa. He shared 40 years of marriage with his wife Kathy and together they raised their family. He always made sure that his family was provided for and could handle any unexpected turn of events with ease. He always enjoyed working on projects and helping others with home repairs. He was meticulous and made sure each job was completed correctly. He will be remembered by his forehead kisses, goofy comments and willingness to lend a helpful hand.

So sad to hear this ! I only met my uncle Jeff when I was a small boy when they lived on a farm in Nebraska and later in Loveland during a short visit when I was 18. He and my Uncle Dave would take me out fishing and hunting . He was a quiet but really nice guy as I remember . My deepest condolences to his wife and Family . Mark Lucas
