Obituary of Jeffrey J. Mastrangelo
Jeffrey Mastrangelo, 50 of Glassboro, NJ has peacefully entered the gates of heaven on May 8, 2022, surrounded by his immediate family, love of his life and closest friends. Jeffrey is the son of Dominic and Angela Mastrangelo and was born in Englewood, NJ. He was raised in Freehold, NJ with his older sibling Renee. He attended Freehold Township High school and graduated from Johnson and Wales with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management. Jeffery spent his adult life in Egg Harbor Township, NJ with friends and family. He currently resided in Glassboro, NJ.
Jeff began his career at Caesars casino as a Beverage Supervisor in Atlantic City. He continued in the hospitality business at Ballamor Country Club and furthered his career at Scotland Run Country Club as a restaurant manager. Most currently, he was Food and Beverage Director for Ottinger Golf Group. Jeff is recognized by his colleagues and staff as a dedicated, hard-working and highly driven manager. He took immense pride and pleasure in going over and beyond to accommodate all the guests and members. His character is strongly woven with a committed devotion to his work ethic and passion in every facet of his life.
Jeff is a gentleman and a man of great honor, integrity, and pride. He has a heart of gold and the soul of an angel. He touched every person around him and left an everlasting impression. His presence brought joy and warmed the hearts around him. Jeff's quick-witted humor, smile and laughter brought light and happiness to everyone. He is a selfless, kind and giving man that would go to any expense to lend a hand, listen or be there in any way for anyone. He is a one of kind man that is genuine with the deepest sincerity and wore his heart on his sleeve.
Jeff is a life-long New York Yankee fan and favored the NY Giants as well as the Islanders. He loves all sports, golf and grilling as well as cooking. He was fond of foods such as chicken cutlet and all Italian dishes. Jeff loved a good glass of Cabernet and restaurant dining. He liked the outdoors, warm weather and being at the Jersey shore. Jeff liked sharing a cold beer and being beside the firepit with his best buds otherwise known as his brothers. He enjoyed all mafia movies including his all-time favorite, The Godfather. He appreciated the tunes of Frank Sinatra and had a true vivacious zest in life. He could not resist good laugh watching older sit coms such as King of Queens and cooking shows including Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
Jeff's loyalty and passion lied with his family. His loved ones were his number one priority. He was a pillar of strength and could always be depended on under any circumstance. Jeff is adored and loved immensely by his mother and father that is beyond any words. They are proud parents to have raised an admirable and respected man. Jeff and his father shared every James Bond movie ever made and had lots of sports talk together. He could never get enough of his mom's homemade meatballs that could never compare to any other. Jeff and his sister Renee, had a fun-loving relationship that was filled with laughter and playful zings. Although, they knew in their hearts that they always had one another to turn to. Jeff was an amazing uncle to his nephews, Thomas and Daniel. He played an extraordinarily special part in every milestone with them from childhood to young adults. They brought immense joy to him and their memories together will be treasured throughout their lives.
Jeff and the love of his life Lisa, were beyond blessed to be brought together as one and find true love that is only once in a lifetime. They filled each other's lives with endless happiness knowing that they were soulmates that were meant for each other. He will forever be her precious prince and the protective angel that was sent from heaven to be by her side. Their unconditional and everlasting love will remain in their hearts and souls until they join in eternal life. The sorrow, grief and the emptiness in our hearts shall be filled with every beautiful moment and memory that we were all privileged to share with him. We are painfully heart broken and will deeply miss you. Our love for you is immeasurable and never ending. There will peace and comfort upon us knowing that Jeff is in God's hands shining down on us. He will endlessly be a spiritual angel amongst us. He will be looking down from heaven providing protection and strength to all his loved ones. Our endearing hearts and internal souls will always be with you my love.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Dominic, and Angela Mastrangelo of Egg Harbor Township; Sister and Brother-in-law, Renee and John Jaichner of Howell NJ: Two nephews, Thomas and Daniel Jaichner; Significant Other, Lisa Marandino of Glassboro NJ; Uncle and Aunt, Mark, and Juli Celli and two cousins, Fiona and Maya and all extended family and friends.

I just learned of Jeff´s passing and I am very saddened to hear of it. Me and my family met Jeff years ago when he was working at Caesars casino in Atlantic City. Jeff always had a smile on his face, had a quick wit, and was always kind and nice looking too! He would talk about his parents and how close he was to them. He touched everyone´s life that he met. Jeff left us all with his example of being a good person. May he rest in peace. "It is not so much the length of time one has on earth but the way in which they live their life".
Jeff we will meet again on the other side

I knew Jeff back when I worked at Scotland Run. I worked the night shift cleaning, and the times where he was ready and able to go home before the rest of the crew arrived, he´d always choose to sacrifice his time and stay behind a little longer to make sure my sister and I felt safe. I remember him being very business when he was on the job, but afterwards always laughing and joking, dancing around and singing to the radio. I can still hear him singing along to Dean Martin´s "That´s Amore." He was such a sweet man, and work always felt a little happier on the days when he was there. He will be greatly, greatly missed, and I offer my condolences to the family and everyone else who loved him.
