Jeffrey Paul McConn Sr

Jeffrey "Jeff" Paul McConn Sr., age 60, of West Alexander, PA, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Friday, June 13, 2025, following a courageous battle with Frontal Temporal Dementia. He was officially pronounced in the early hours of Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Born on December 8, 1964, Jeff was the son of Joe McConn and Donna Weisgerber, and the beloved stepson of Peg Hoover (deceased) and Bill Weisgerber. A devoted family man, Jeff was the beloved husband of 38 years to Peggy McConn; loving father to Bridget (Dom Maffio) McConn, Caitlyn McConn, and Jeffrey McConn Jr., as well as a father figure to many "bonus children" whom he cared for deeply. He was a cherished brother to Rod (Joey) McConn, and uncle to Tyler, Austin, Chasten, and great-nephew Carter.
Jeff was deeply rooted in farm life and took great pride in raising livestock. He dedicated his time to the community, especially through his long-standing involvement with the county fair, where he served on the livestock committee. When his children were younger, Jeff was an active supporter of McGuffey Soccer and Wrestling, always yelling from the sidelines and lending a helping hand.
For 35 years, Jeff worked as a machine operator with Dynamet Inc., earning the respect of his coworkers and friends for his strong work ethic and loyalty. Outside of work, one of his greatest pleasures was catching up with friends at the local feed store, usually interrupted by a well-deserved nap in his favorite chair.
Jeff's big heart extended to his four-legged companions-his beloved dogs AddyMae, Presley, and Sophie Rose-who brought him joy and comfort through the years.
Per Jeff's wishes, all services will be private.
Jeff will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his community, and a presence that was anything but quiet-in the best way possible. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
