Jeffrey Harold Mullis

Jeffrey Harold Mullis, age 61, of 161 Carolyn Lane, Nicholasville, Kentucky, where he was known as the mayor, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the VA Hospital on Leestown Road in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on October 2, 1964, to Christine Asher Anderson and the late Marvin Wayne Mullis. Jeff was a United States Marine Veteran and had worked for the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company and Dixon Electric as a delivery driver. Jeff loved gardening, driving his tractor, mowing the lawn, fishing, and four-wheeling. But most of all, he loved the time he spent with family, friends, and grandchildren. He is survived by two daughters, Brandy Mullis (David Wolfe), Jackie Mullis, grandchildren, Brian Kevin Collins, Jace Frederick, Paiton Gibson, and Matthew Murphy-Carpenter, and Maggie Murphy-Carpenter. Additional survivors include a brother, Kim Wayne Mullis (Lisa), two stepsons, Austin Murphy and Dallas Murphy, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, with Bro. Jay Webb officiating. The visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Betts & West Funeral Home.
