Jeffrey Felix Pearson

Jeffrey Felix Pearson, 62, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, peacefully at home, after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 11:00 am at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Family will receive friends prior to service at 9:45-10:45. Chaplain Michael Willard will officiate.

 

Jeff dearly loved his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband and father. After the birth of his grandsons, “Pa” became his new favorite title. Jeff was never happier than when he was spending time with those he loved or when he had a fishing rod in his hand. Jeff’s barbequed Pig and fish stew will be greatly missed.

 

Jeff was very proud of his and his co-worker’s accomplishments in his 45-year career with Carolina Stone Setting.  His handiwork is on display all over North Carolina and in several other states.

 

Jeff will be remembered for the smile he always carried which was contagious to those around him.

 

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Diedrea Bennett Pearson; daughter, Morgan Strickland and Andrew Lamm; grandsons, Jackson Lamm and Jase Lamm; sisters, Robbin Strickland and husband, Mickey, Kimberly Pearson, and Pearl Robles and husband, Mickey; brothers, Neal Pearson and Mark Pearson; in-laws, Jack and Hazel Parker; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family.

 

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Rachel Pearson.

 

The family expresses sincere gratitude to Brittney Bunn and Hospice of Wilson for their exceptional care.
