Obituary of Jeffrey Scott Pierson
Jeffrey Scott Pierson was born May 14, 1971 at Sasebo Naval Hospital in Japan to Gary and Sandra Pierson. The family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where his baby sister Carisa was born. The family then moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma after Gary's discharge from the Air Force.
Jeff attended Sapulpa schools. He played baseball and football in his early years and became an All-District tuba player in the Sapulpa band. After graduation, Jeff had short stints in a glass plant and attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah where he made lifelong friends in Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He then had a brief time in the U.S. Army from which he was honorably discharged due to bad knees.
He loved playing online games with his friends and brother Billy. He loved his American Bulldog, Boozer, while she was alive, but also fell in love with a couple of little Yorkies named Boomer and Rolo the last few months.
Jeff passed on to meet his Savior, the Lord Jesus, on December 22, 2024. He had received Jesus as his Savior as a youth and had been baptized in his grandmother's pond.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Sandra Barnhart and husband B.J. of Sapulpa; his father, Gary Pierson and wife Sharon of Sapulpa; brother, Bill Barnhart and wife Meshelle of Owasso; sister, Carisa Hendrix and husband Joey of Sapulpa; sister, Rachel Barnhart of Sapulpa; daughter, Alexis Mamolo and husband Tristan of Bartlesville; son, Joshua Pierson and wife Tori of Bartlesville; daughters, Gracee and Berklee Pierson of Bixby; grandchildren, Lia, Levi, Lucy, Lyla and Charlotte of Bartlesville; fiancé, Melody Ingle; along with numerous other family members.
In Lieu of flowers the family request that you purchase small teddy bears.
