Jeffrey M Rinkus

Jeffrey M. Rinkus, 73, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away at his home on February 20, 2025. He was born on January 26, 1952, in Connecticut to John Rinkus, Sr. and Julia White Rinkus.
He was raised in California. While traveling to Texas for work, he met Cathy Lemons Rinkus, who would become the love of his life. They were married in June of 1979 and shared many cherished years together.
A master carpenter, handyman, and jack of all trades, Jeffrey took great pride in his work. Beyond his profession, he found enjoyment in outdoor activities such as fishing and "junking," appreciating the thrill of discovering hidden treasures. He was sociable, enjoying conversations and meeting new people, and had never met a stranger. Additionally, he had a deep appreciation for animals and found peace in bird watching. Jeffrey was a man of faith. He was the best PawPaw to his granddaughter, Ashlyn. His most cherished moments were those spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Cathy; son Brian Woodson; daughter Katrina Rinkus Glenn; granddaughter Ashlyn; brother Joe Rinkus; and sister Janet Almodovar. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John Rinkus, Jr.
A memorial service to honor Jeffrey's life will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home.
Jeffrey's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his loved ones find comfort in the legacy he leaves behind.
