Jeffrey Savoca Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals - Bayville at O'Connell Chapel on Sep. 16, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Jeffrey S. Savoca, 51, of Bayville, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 8, 2025. Born on March 10, 1974, in Long Branch to Gary and Barbara Savoca, Jeff lived a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections.

Jeff was a devoted husband, a proud and loving father, and a loyal friend to many. He had a magnetic personality-he truly never met a stranger. Jeff was the kind of person who could walk into a room and instantly make everyone feel welcome. His warmth, humor, and generosity made him unforgettable. To know Jeff was to love him.

Affectionately known as "Big Jeff" or "Big Love" by his closest friends, these nicknames reflected both his stature and the size of his heart. Whether he was sharing stories, cracking jokes, or enjoying a good cigar with family and friends, Jeff brought joy and comfort to those around him. He was deeply cherished by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family, all of whom will carry his memory with love and pride.

Jeff is predeceased by his father, Gary Savoca, and his in-laws, Robert and Noreen Gasenheimer.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Savoca; his beloved wife, Jo Gasenheimer Savoca; his children, Jeffrey, Timothy, Jonathan, Maddie, and Sophia Savoca; his stepmother, Linda Savoca; his siblings, John Allen, Barbara Pritchard, Rae Marie Emans, Denise Reed; and his in-laws, Robert and his wife Erin Gasenheimer, Wendy Gasenheimer, Nicholas and Diane Fernicola, Jake and his wife Alaysha Prestia, and Nicky Fernicola.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at The Osprey, 201 1st Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
