Jeffrey “Jeff” Charles Schink, age 63 of Appleton, WI passed away on January 6, 2025. He was born to Conrad and Patricia (Smith) Schink on February 2, 1961 in Appleton, WI. After graduating from Hilbert High School with the class of ’79, Jeff went on to become a dishwasher for Mary’s Family Restaurant and eventually worked at Valley Packaging. While he never married or had children of his own, the family he was born with and the family he made along the way with some friends was all he ever wanted.
Jeff was a very adventurous person, willing to go anywhere at any time. He always enjoyed his trips away from home and especially his more frequent trips out to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Jeff’s favorite restaurant had to be Tom’s Drive-In with how frequently he went there. He enjoyed spending as much time with his mother as possible and cherished every moment he spent with her and the rest of his family.
Jeff is survived by his siblings, Cindy (John) and Charles (S.O. Betty); his favorite sister-in-law, Beverly; his brother-in-law, Charles; his nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Diane (Dean), Scott (Katie), Tina (Allen), Beth, Jim (Sherie), Joe (Shellie), Jennifer (Eric), and Julie; as well as other extended relatives and dear friends.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Patricia; his siblings, Lynn and Steve; and his nephews and niece, Daniel, Todd, and Jean. Jeff is also reunited in heaven with his beloved blue truck.
A funeral visitation will be held for Jeff from 10-11 AM on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Wichmann Tri-County Chapel, 1592 S. Oneida St, Menasha, WI 54952 with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM. Jeff will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton, WI following the service.
Jeff’s family would like to extend a special thank-you the doctors, nurses, and other supporting staff at Heartwood Senior Living, Combined Guardians, and Fresenius Kidney Dialysis Center for their care and compassion shown to Jeff during his times of need.
