Jeffrey Seger Obituary
Jeffrey was a man of many passions - a gifted photographer with a keen eye for beauty in everyday life, and a devoted movie buff whose love for comedy and suspense was unmatched. Few things brought him more joy than discovering someone who appreciated The Exorcist as much as he did.
An avid sports fan, Jeffrey cheered endlessly for the Chicago Cubs and the Bears, and witnessing the Cubs' historic 2016 World Series win was a dream come true. Though he once dared to root for the Carolina Panthers, deep down he remained forever loyal to "DA BEARS!".
Jeffrey also had a deep love for fast sports cars and convertibles. He found freedom in the open road, often driving with the top down, camera in hand, wind in his hair, and a smile on his face. Every drive was an adventure, every turn an opportunity to capture life through his lens.
Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Laron A. and Bernice J. Seger, and his loving wife Judy A. Seger, Jeffrey leaves behind a legacy of love. He is survived by his sons, Andrew Seger of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Shane Seger of Washington, DC; his cherished stepdaughters, Dawn Nixson of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Amy Nixson of Norcross, GA; and his treasured grandsons, Jason Seger of Normal, IL, and Jordan Seger of Myrtle Beach, SC. Jeffrey's memory will also be carried forward by many other extended family members and dear friends.
