Jeffrey Hugh Singleton

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Hugh Singleton on Saturday, December 13, 2025. During this blessed Christmas season, we give thanks for the 70 years of his life and what he has meant to his family and friends.

Jeff's life journey began on June 13, 1955. He was a lifelong resident of Haywood County and a graduate of Tuscola High School in Waynesville. With determination and great skill, he built his own roofing company, earning a well-respected reputation throughout the area for his dedication to his work.

Beyond his profession, Jeffrey found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time outdoors, especially at the lake, where he could fish and swim- and Jeffrey certainly was an amazing swimmer! The times he shared with his loved ones will remain treasured memories- always.

Jeff was a man of the Baptist faith, and he cherished his family. His memory will live on forever, passed down to generations to come by his children and grandchildren. Jeffrey will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Hugh Singleton and Emma Jean Holland Singleton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brothers, James Roy Singleton and Timothy Ray Singleton.

Surviving are his children, Shane Singleton and Michelle, Tiffany Singleton, Jeffrey Dale Singleton and fiancée Anna, and Jasmine Singleton; grandchildren, Ryan, Lillian, Bernard Hugh, and Macie; a beloved sister, Sandra Singleton; and many friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jeff's memory to the Riverside Cemetery Fund, 2171 Lake Logan Road, Waynesville, NC 28786.
