Jeffrey A. Sobers

Jeffrey A. Sobers, 54, of Plainfield, NJ entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Robert Wood University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
Jeffrey was born on March 31, 1968, to John and Enid Sobers in St. Michael, Barbados where he grew up and attended primary and secondary school. In 1984 he migrated to the United States. He finished his education as a Plainfield High School graduate in 1986. The following year he joined the United States Navy and then moved on to attend Lincoln Tech Institute, where he became a certified HVAC technician perfecting his craft for the next 30+ years.
Jeffrey had a love for cricket and was a member of the Commonwealth and Combined Island Cricket Club of Plainfield, NJ. He also loved soccer and was the captain of the soccer team at Christ Church Foundation School in Barbados. He also enjoyed horse racing and his frequent trips to the casino.
Jeffrey is predeceased by his mother, Enid Sobers, and brother Martin Worrell. He is survived by his three children, Courtney, Jeffrey and Breanna Sobers, two grandchildren, Cole Bradshaw and Nylah Sobers, his father, John Sobers, siblings, Marcia, and Errol Worrell (Sonia), Marjorie Worell Johnson (Dave), Jennifer Sobers and Judy Knight, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
