Natasha Gilbert was born April 21, 1968 at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, NJ to her parents, Jacqueline Roach and Leroy Gilbert. She was the granddaughter of Pauline Muldrow and Ferdinard Caldwell. Natasha's siblings include: Lenny Lewis Robinson (Deceased), Jeffrey Kenneth Robinson (Deceased), Bently Pollard, Melissa Pollard (Deceased), Syrron Roach, Tamika Walker and Lamont Ross. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Jovan Gilbert, Imanni Reeves, Syrron Gilbert, Ashanti Combs & two other children; and her two grandchildren, Kaycen Reeves and Liam Arreku. Natasha also leaves behind her nieces & nephews: Faizah, Divine II, Samiya, Divine III, Tariq, Ebony, Mecca, AJ, Andrew, Ariel, Adele and Laila; her cousins: Keshin Pollard, Tannesha Hagler and Michael Pollard; along with her extended family and friends.
Natasha attended and graduated from Plainfield High School. She later attended colleges in Newark and Plainfield. She received many certificates such as Pharmaceutical Professional.
Natasha lived in Newark, NJ for many years and traveled around after. Tash, as she was lovingly called, was a devoted church member from childhood singing in the choir of her grandmother's church.
Natasha had many places employment throughout her life. She worked at the U.S. Post Office, Child Craft, McDonald's, Virtua Memorial Hospital, Amazon, a lumber factory and she was Assistant Manager at Dollar General.
As the years went by, Natasha committed her time to making music, ranking #1 in the House Music charts. She also loved to party at places like Zanzibar, Sensations, Club 88, Sunny Oliver, Bogies, Club Kayan and The Garage.
Natasha was a loving woman, a devoted mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
