Judith A. Edwards

Judith A. Edwards, 75, of Iselin, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2025.
Born on January 28, 1950, in Plainfield, NJ, Judith graduated from Plainfield High School and went on to pursue a career as a secretary, spending the majority of her professional life at Lee Controls in Piscataway until her retirement. In recent years, she enjoyed working part-time at Kidz Kuts in Woodbridge.
Judith was a proud member and former president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Iselin, NJ. She loved solving crossword puzzles, connecting with family on Facebook, and exploring her genealogy as she pieced together her family's ancestry. Deeply devoted to her loved ones, Judith cherished every moment spent with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Micco and Lilian Brodken; her brother, Albert Micco; and her beloved son, Michael Astringer.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Alan Edwards, of Iselin, NJ; Michael's wife, Kimberly Astringer, her grandchildren: Stephen Astringer (Adrianna), of Mt. Royal, NJ; Michelle Astringer of Denver, CO; Nichole Ennis of Bristol, PA; and her great-grandson, Felix Astringer. Judith is also survived by her stepchildren: Georgette Kimball (Keith) of FL, Nichole Edwards of FL, Lori Gilger (Bill) of PA, and Alan Edwards Jr. of PA; as well as many additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, located at the corner of 1225 Green Street and 200 Cooper Avenue in Iselin, NJ. Interment will be private on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
