Kenneth R. Francis

Kenneth Francis, 63, of Linden passed away on December 14, 2025, at home.
Born on December 24, 1961, Kenneth grew up in Iselin, New Jersey. He was the son of Harold Francis and Francesca Licata, both of whom predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his siblings Charles Francis (2009) and Lori Francis Gonnella (2022).
Kenneth was a proud and devoted father to his daughter, Stephanie Towns (34), and a proud father-in-law to her husband, Tenzell Towns. He also lovingly embraced his bonus daughters, Melissa and Nicole of Florida. He is further survived by his brothers Michael Francis (Pamela) and Joseph Francis, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends whose lives he touched.
A lifelong New Jersey resident, Kenneth was a graduate and athlete of John F. Kennedy Memorial High School, Class of 1980, where he formed many lasting friendships.
Kenneth was known for his unmistakable laugh and his whacky, funny personality. He had a natural ability to make people laugh and bring lightness to any moment. He loved rock music and enjoyed attending live concerts, and he stayed active through long walks and time spent at the beach.
He also had a deep love and connection to animals. Kenneth shared a special bond with his dog, Bodey, who passed before him and whom his family finds comfort knowing greeted him as he passed. He leaves behind his beloved cat, Spooky, who he spoiled endlessly and who will continue to be loved and spoiled by his daughter, Stephanie. His laughter, kindness, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4-7 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 1225 Green St. (corner of Cooper Ave.) Iselin.
