Jeffrey Alexander Taylor, age 66, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at his home in Staunton, Virginia.
He was born on February 6, 1960, in Franklin County, Virginia to Dalton Taylor and Nellie Harris.
Jeff lived a joyful life known for his smile, laughter, great cooking, and his dedication to the Washington Redskins/Commanders.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Ann Taylor; his siblings, Trisha Ann Williams (Jack), Michael Taylor (Pearlie), Gary Lee Taylor, and Patsy Jeffries; his children Jeffrey K Taylor (Myra), Kia Donner (Marcus), Jerone Payne, Consuela Wilson and Damien Toye; his six grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins and close friends.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by, his sister Sheila; his brother Arthur; and a special nephew, Mann.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Augusta Street United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall (325 N Augusta St Staunton, Virginia 24401).
