March 19, 2025

Jenice was my childhood. She came to my birthday parties when we were in Harding grade school. We rode our bikes everywhere from Parkside to Belleville. We skated and danced at the Thunderbird skating rink and later, the dances at the Bellaire bowling alley. During high school, her mom drove us to school every morning. She went with my family on my dad's fishing trips, camping out, getting sunburned at the beach, and taking a spin around the lake in my dad's boat. Years and years of memories. Though we have been miles apart for many years, she has always been in my heart. I think of her often and miss her. My condolences to all who knew her and loved her as I did. - Susan Egan
