Jennie DeBree

Jennie DeBree (Palozzi)
September 18, 2024 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Lisa Anne Tucker, her parents John and Anna Palozzi and brother Chester Palozzi.
Survived by her husband Charles, daughter Charlene (Stephen) O'Brien, son-in-law Benjamin Tucker IV; grandchildren Tanner and Isabella O'Brien, Benjamin and Evangeline Tucker; sisters Loretta Zambuto, Angela Coffaro and Barbara Vito; brother-in-law Robert (Dawn) DeBree; step brother-in-law, Lee (Margaret) Patterson; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great grand nieces and nephews. After graduating from Jefferson Highschool, Jennie achieved her dream of owning her own hair salon, Salon de Jeni, in her hometown. While raising her daughters, she ran a next to new shop at Allendale Columbia called The Treasure Chest. It was after that though, that Jennie found her true passion working in the education department at the Rochester Museum and Science Center, where Native American Studies was a special area of interest. Jennie enjoyed reading and learning about the Native American culture, into retirement. Jennie also loved to spend time with her family at her second home in Old Forge. Most recently, Jennie was a resident at Heather Heights in Pittsford where she made many friends and was a beloved member of their community.
Per Jennie's request, there will be no visitation. Immediate family will gather privately to remember her. We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Ganondagon State Historic Site. 7000 County Road 41 (Boughton Hill Rd) Victor NY 14564.
