Jennie Mahon, age 95, of Brookdale, Wayne, NJ passed away on August 31st, 2025. Jennie was born in Ridgefield Park in 1930 to Tatjana and John Martishewski, She was formerly of Cresskill for 34 years before moving to Pheasant Run, Barnegat for 29 years.
Jennie was a homemaker and volunteered at St. Therese Church in Cresskill and St. Mary's Church in Barnegat. She also worked for Penetone in Tenafly.
Jennie met her husband Joe on August 3rd, 1948 when they both started working for Otis on the same day.
Jennie was a proud member of the Cresskill Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Jennie loved Bingo, NY Giants, Bowling, trips to Woodloch Pines, vacations at Ocean Beach, and throwing parties; especially Super Bowl.
Jennie was predeceased by her husband Joe, daughter Kathy, her sister Vera and her brother Paul. She is survived by her twin sister Sophie, her children Terry Ciccone, Mike Mahon, PJ and Tina Mahon and her son-in-law Nick Kolupanowich. Also surviving are her grandchildren Nicholas and Beth Kolupanowich, Jillian and Jake Lockhart, Tatiana Ciccone and Anthony Mistkowski, Timmy Kolupanowich, Dylan and Emma Olszewski, Mackenzie and Meredith Mahon and one great-grandson Ethan Kolupanowich.
A Viewing will be held on Thursday September 4th, 2025 from 10-12 at Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, 335 South Main Street, Barnegat, NJ. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 747 West Bay Ave, on Thursday at 12:30pm, interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jennie's name to Alzheimer's Association, 331 Newman Springs Road, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
