Jennifer Lynn Eddie

Jennifer Lynn Eddie, 43, of Gastonia, passed away on May 23, 2025. Services with military honors will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 2:00PM at Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews, NC 28104.Jen was fascinated with journeys and adventures. She loved to travel without a map and loved picnics, waterfalls and organic gardening. Jen had a genius IQ and was self-taught on how to build completely up to code. She looked forward to family vacations and being around loved ones but was also comfortable being alone. She was a rock hound and enjoyed polishing the stones she found to make them look nice, was an Artist, a jewelry maker, and would spend all day shelling at the beach. She was also an excellent singer and will be remembered for her beautiful voice. Jen had an interest in criminal psychology and studied this on her GI Bill. She was beautiful inside and out but struggled with emotional issues after suffering from strokes. She "lost her filter" at times and her emotions would speak for her. This caused her a lot of regrets for hurting her loved ones. She remained very close to her grandmother and loved to cook and care for her. Jen will be watching over her children and loved ones now from Heaven. Jen is survived by her mother Mary Dunn (Ferrell Dunn); loving children Trent Tice and Aiden Eddie and their father Corey Tice; brother Richard Eddie; best friend Mario "Rome" Roman; and by a niece and nephew. Jen was preceded in death by her grandmother that she adored Olive Schwab.
