Jennifer Lynn Reed Ellison, age 48 of Sparta, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. She was born on March 9, 1977, in Livingston, Tennessee, and spent her life dedicated to both her family and her career.
Jennifer, known to all as a nurturing and loving soul, worked at Putnam County Waste Management.
A woman of many interests, Jennifer found joy in crafting and reading. Her creativity was expressed through her projects, which allowed her to share her talents with family and friends. Above all, she treasured spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandkids.
Jennifer attended Fredonia Baptist Church in Crossville, where she nurtured her faith and built lasting relationships within her church community.
She is survived by her husband, Michael William Ellison of Sparta; her sons, Cody Blake (Haley) Ellison and Thomas Roy Ellison, both of Sparta; her daughter, Casey Nicole (Christopher) Lamb of Sparta; her mother, Rebecca Lynn Segar of Rickman; her sister, Kelly Troglin of Sparta; and her grandchildren, Justin Michael Lamb and Phoebe Alexandria Lamb, who brought her immense joy. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Roy Reed, who she held dear in her heart.
Jennifer Lynn Reed Ellison will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to family, and her unwavering spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
