Jennifer Flowe

Jennifer Pettit Flowe, 60, of Charlotte, NC passed away at home on August 2, 2023 surrounded by her beautiful family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Jack and Jean Pettit, nephew, Evan Pettit and father in law, Sonny Flowe. She is survived by husband, Scott, son, Reid, daughter, Nikki (Jackson), grandson, Sawyer, siblings, John (Susan and children, JJ, Matthew, and Elizabeth), Janet (Stan and daughter Jennifer), Jerry (Cathie and children Michael and Maggie), and mother in law, Betty Ann Flowe "Nana".
Jennifer was born July 11, 1963 in Charlotte, NC the youngest of four children. She's been married to Scott for 35 years. She was a graduate of West Charlotte High School, class of 1981 and graduated from Central Piedmont Community College's dental assistant program. She spent her entire professional career working side by side with Richard Caldwell, DDS. Recently retired, she enjoyed precious moments with her beloved grandson, Sawyer, giving tons of "Mimi" cuddles. She also enjoyed spending time with Scott traveling and listening to lots of live music, yoga with sissy, Janet, play dates with Sawyer and Nikki, beach trips, mountain trips and trips to Wilmington to visit Reid.
She had a huge love for dogs and gave forever homes to many rescues.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and love to long time neighbor, Bonnie Broadwell, for her loving care of Jennifer while she was home. We would also like to extend our thanks and love to her lifetime friends, Penny Phifer and Debbie Dancy for their love and support of the family during this difficult time.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 at Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Mint Hill, NC. Visitation will be held at 12:00 with service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Philadelphia Presbyterian Church or ASPCA.
