Jennifer "Jen" Nicole Johnson, 47, of Covington, KY, passed away on April 24, 2025. Born on August 27, 1977, to the late James and Deborah Fritts, Jen was known for her love of simple joys-taking peaceful walks in the park, enjoying a good movie, and most of all, cherishing time spent with her family. Her frugality was a point of pride, a testament to her practicality and the value she placed on life's true treasures: love, laughter, and connection. Jen was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her son, Brennan. She is survived by her devoted husband of four years, Don Johnson; her children Pamela (Shavontae) Lockett, Keanu (Joshua) Niemeyer, Mariah (Tanner) Clark, Summer Johnson, Toni (Howard) Webb, Don Johnson, Jr., and Donavon Johnson; siblings Tonya, Doug, Arlenia, and Jeremy; and six adored grandchildren. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews and her faithful furbaby, Teddy, who never left her side. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2024 from 1-4pm at Gus Sheehan Shelter in Devou Park. Jen's warm heart, strength, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A wife, a mother, a grandma too, This is the legacy we have from you. You taught us love and how to fight, You gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, And in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another, Not just as a wife not just as a mother. For all of us you gave your best, Now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace, you've earned your sleep, Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep (Author Unknown)
