Jennifer Lynn "Jen" Misal

Jennifer Lynn Misal, 35, of Wrightsville passed away surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Wayne Misal Sr. and Alice Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is survived by 3 daughters, Daniella, Mya, and Synthia and a son, Kayden. Also surviving are her 3 sisters, Shannon Trout, wife of Andrew Trout of Columbia, Candra Penwell of Wrightsville, and Jaylynn Jones of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Misal, Jr., paternal grandparents William and Geraldine Misal, and maternal grandparents Marvin and Nancy Hagens.
Jen's last career choice involved direct care for those who have intellectual and physical disabilities. She always looked forward to family gatherings and snuggle time with babies. Jen loved turtles, monkeys, and the color purple. Her fun loving spirit and determination will forever be remembered and cherished in memories held by loved ones and the medical staff who cared for her. Her strength and resilience will continue to live on through the children who bravely remained close and shared the struggle in her battle with cancer.
Funeral services to be held on Friday, September 5th at Clyde Kraft Funeral Home at 519 Walnut St Columbia PA with viewing beginning at 12 pm and service beginning at 1 pm. Interment will directly follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, we think Jen's memory would be better honored with donations to American Association for Cancer Research.
Her strength and resilience will continue to live on through the children who bravely remained close and shared the struggle in her battle with cancer.
