Jennifer "Jenny" Owens, a beacon of kindness and laughter, passed away at her home in Greenville, SC, on December 13, 2024, at the age of 43. Born on June 21, 1981, Jenny's infectious smile and warm presence brought joy to all who knew her.
Jenny was the cherished daughter of Otis Owens and Deborah Boiter, and a loving sister to Stephen Godfrey. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Owens. Her extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, will fondly remember Jenny's friendly nature and her ability to make every family gathering a memorable one.
Jenny was a graduate of Southside High School. She built a career working at Advance Auto Parts, Bi-Lo, and finally, AutoZone Auto Parts, where she was not only a valued employee but also a friend to many.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Jenny will recall her as the epitome of kindness. Her friendly demeanor made her a beloved figure in her community and workplace alike.
Jenny's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless lives she touched with her generous spirit. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her memory will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
As we bid farewell to Jenny, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the indelible mark she has left on our hearts. Her story is not one of sorrow but a beautiful tapestry woven with joy, friendship, and the countless moments that we will treasure forever.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM, with a visitation held one hour prior at 11:30-12:30 PM, at New Life Baptist Church, 2691 W Blue Ridge Dr, Greenville, SC 29611. The burial will take place after the service, at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Flowers will be accepted, but memorials to her church, New Life Baptist Church, will be greatly appreciated.
