Jennifer Michelle Kramer was born on July 12, 1974, in Houston, Texas, to parents
Betty and Ronald Kramer. She grew up in Needville, Texas, and attended Needville
High School alongside numerous friends. After graduating high school, she attended
Sam Houston State University and obtained her Bachelor's degree in teaching. She
would also work as an elementary school teacher in Cy-Fair ISD for 27 years.
Throughout her teaching career, she would touch the hearts of hundreds of students
and dozens of coworkers as a passionate, kind, and caring leader and friend. She
would also marry Mel Reist and raise two beautiful children. In her spare time, she
enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, watching true crime, and traveling to
new places. On April 3, 2025, Jennifer passed away at the age of 50. This loving wife,
mother, daughter, sister, and friend will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Magnolia Kramer, OJ Stransky, Joe and
Willie Mae Silhavy, and father-in-law Melvin Reist.
She is survived by her loving husband Mel Reist, her children Kaitlyn Reist and Kolby
Reist, her mother Betty Kramer, her father Ronald Kramer, her sister Lisa Bailey, her
mother-in-law Martha Reist; along with numerous relatives and close friends.
The family will gather for a Private Service on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Greenlawn
Memorial Park.
