Jennifer Jane Timms

Jennifer Jane Timms passed away peacefully on the afternoon of November 26, 2025, at the age of 50, following a long and complicated battle with scleroderma.

Jennifer was born on April 29th, 1975 in Calgary, Alberta and was raised in Salt Lake City, where she attended Cottonwood High School. Friendships mattered deeply to her and she was kind-hearted and generous. Her life took her on many adventures, including time spent living in Alberta, Montana, Idaho, New York, Washington State and, of course, Utah.

Jennifer's life was forever changed in 1991 when her son Jakob was born. She adored him and poured her heart into every moment. Of all the experiences she collected, being Jakob's mom was the role she cherished most.

Jennifer was a passionate and devoted fan of the Denver Broncos. From the top of her head to her blue and orange slippers, her wardrobe carried Broncos logos. In fact, she named her beloved dog and constant companion Miles after Mile High stadium.

Jennifer is survived by her son, Jakob; her parents David and Bobbi; her siblings, Ben, Chris and Sarah. She is preceded in death by her sister, Melissa.

A service will be held Saturday, December 6th at 4:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints meetinghouse at 5017 West Grand View Peak in Riverton, Utah.

The family wishes to thank the kind hospice workers from Rocky Mountain Care in Tooele who did their best to make her final weeks as comfortable as possible. And to the staff at IHC Home Health – several of these tireless caretakers became true friends to Jen as they battled tirelessly for months, helping her with her wound care.
