Survivors other than her husband include a daughter Samantha Vaughn Hooker (Mark) Boswell of Eubank; three sons Jeffrey (Taneika) Darland and Scott Vaughn Jr. both of Harrodsburg and Jonathan Darland of Danville; her mother Doris (Conner) Deaton; three sisters Jackie Johnson, Sylvia Harris and Pleasent Cierra Deaton all of Harrodsburg; eleven grandchildren Gabriel Darland, Braylen Darland, Saylor Vaughn and Blakelee Vaughn all of Harrodsburg, Canaan Darland and Noah Darland both of Danville, Scottie Hooker, Alexander Hooker Maci Hooker, and Kynleigh Boswell all of Eubank plus Chasity Vaughn of Perryville. Other than her father she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Alexander Hooker.
The family requests that memorial donations be made directly to Sims Funeral Services, 130 North Chiles Street, Harrodsburg, KY to assist with funeral expenses. "Your kindness is deeply appreciated."
No visitation or services are planned at this time.
