Jennifer Ann Wall

Jennifer Ann (Hoagland) Wall, 43, from Hanover, PA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Johns Hopkins Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. She fought a long, hard battle with GIST cancer. Born October 31, 1979 in the Ephrata Community Hospital, Lancaster County, PA. Jennifer had a love for Jesus at an early age and served Him until she went to join him and serves him still.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Ryan Anthony Wall, and her beautiful 13-year-old daughter Addison Grace Wall; her mother and stepfather LuAnn and James Karper, sister Kristina Renee Hoagland and partner Scott Goddard; mother-in-law Linda Menchey, father-in-law Robert Wall and wife Manette, brother-in-law Richard Wall and fiancée Toniann, a niece, and several nephews.
Always passionate about helping others, Jennifer obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Shippensburg University and obtained her Master's Degree in Social Work from Marywood University. She was employed by Hoffman Homes and then River Rock Academy.
First and foremost, Jennifer's priority and joy was being her daughter's cheerleader in all her activities, especially her love of dance. She, along with a group of friends, created a cancer support group for women called Hope and Healing Support Group, through Olive Branch Ministries. Her love of life included her passion for photography, crafting, and any outdoor activity. She loved volunteering at her daughter's school, the Christian School of York.
Jennifer was blessed by a loving community of friends who supported her throughout her entire cancer journey.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Jennifer's life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00AM at Genesis Church, 1405 Seven Valleys Road, York, PA 17408. She will be laid to rest following the service at St. Paul Union Cemetery in Stoverstown (Spring Grove). The family will receive relatives and friends at a closed casket visitation from 9:00AM – 11:00AM on Saturday at Genesis Church. Funeral services are under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove.
In lieu of flowers the family's request is that people support the Light of Life Performing Arts Dance Studio's upcoming Dance Performance scheduled for February 24th and 25th. Jennifer was a true Wall Warrior: Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12).
