Jenny S. Castle Bradley, 75, of Halls Gap, KY passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. Born on December 30, 1949 in Halls Gap to the late Bob and Grace Thompson Castle. She is the widow to the late Rick Bradley.

Jenny lived her life fast and furious, she was a speed demon in the truest sense. Jenny was the kind of woman who could change a tire, drive a truck, and beat you at Mario Kart - all before lunch. She retired from a career as a cashier, but Jenny was never one to stay idle. The roar of a Harley-Davidson, the fragrance of blooming flowers, and the thrill of a hot rod race were her idea of a perfect day. Whether she was talking on the C.B. Radio under the handle "Splinter", belting out tunes in a karaoke bar, or nurturing her garden, Jenny lived life in the fast lane. A charter member of Freedom Baptist Church and a regular in the Drag Pipe Benefit Rides, Jenny left an indelible mark wherever she went.

Survivors include one son, Mike Taylor (Nina) of Somerset, KY; four siblings, Robert Castle (Sandy) of Stanford, Alonzo Castle of Stanford, Ann Watts of Harrodsburg, KY and Jerry Castle of Lancaster, KY; one grandson, Hunter "Halls Gap" Taylor; step-granddaughter, Lauren Booher; step-great-grandchild, Lucy Kate Hensley; special bonus daughter, who she considered her own, Sharon Preston; two brothers-in-law, Jeff Bradley (Beth) and Tom Bradley (Sharron) both of Harrodsburg; multiple generations of nieces and nephews; and her grand dog, Minnie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rick Bradley; parents, Bob and Grace Castle; three siblings, Norma Holt, Thelma Murphy and Bill Castle; two special sisters-in-law, Margaret Castle and Glenna "Ciddy" McQueary Castle; and her two favorite dogs, Bentley and Daisy.

A one-day service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Jeremy Pope officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: Heritage Hospice, 120 Enterprise Dr., Danville, KY 40422.

The family would also like to express their thanks and gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center, Centerwell Home Health, Velma Cordier, Jimmy Lou Abney, and Jenny's neighbors.
