Ott found joy in the simple, yet profound aspects of life. His days were often spent in the company of friends and family. His passion was Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Ford trucks and twisted tea. He loved the freedom of being on the open road in his Harley Davidson or his Ford pickup. However, the brightest light in Ott's life was his beloved granddaughter, Elise. Their bond was one of pure love and joy. In their shared moments of laughter and love, Elise became Ott's soulmate in life.
Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years of marriage and 45 years together, Jenny Gutenson; two children, Arthur Alexander Gutenson and Maggie Joe Gutenson; two siblings, Mark Gutenson (Tracy) and Vickie Rice (Danie); one granddaughter, Elsie Wolfe Gutenson; several nieces and nephews; and his three dogs, Wiley Mr. Crowley, July Moon and Khaleesi Blue.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Eva Gutenson.
A gathering for friends and family will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Sylvester Church Cemetery.
