Jenny Lynn Olmstead, 47, of East Liverpool, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at her home. Jenny was born on May 31, 1976 in East Liverpool, the daughter of Larry A (Pam) Olmstead and Deborah K (Chuck) Bayer. She was a 1995 graduate of East Liverpool High School and resided in the area for most of her life.
Growing up Jenny was known as a social light. She had a fun loving nature, outgoing disposition and was happiest around her family and friends.
Although in adulthood she was known to be faced with much difficulty, both from mental illness and choice, she was also remembered for the good days where her true light shined through, her ability to acknowledge when others were hurting, her giving nature, and a smile that could light up a room.
Many lives have been touched through the prayers raised for her, but also from the memories that were had, and the love that was given.
Psalm 34:18
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Jenny is survived by: her children, Darcy (Corey) Wilson, of OH and Hayden Delarenzo,of TN; she is also survived by her three granddaughters: Sophia, Mia, and McKenna Wilson; her two sisters: Kelly (Sam) Boorse, of TX, and Casie Olmstead, of OH, and her brother, Jamie (LaRelle) Olmstead, of MO, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 4-7 at the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, in Calcutta. The funeral will follow at 7PM with Pastor Mark Blakeley of First Christian Church of Wellsville officiating
