Jeral Randal Hall, a beloved member of the community and a cherished friend, passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76 in Tallahassee, Florida. Born on January 15, 1949, in Altha, Florida Jeral dedicated 20 years of his life as a long-distance driver for Lehigh Furniture, where he became known for his reliability and dedication. He also made significant contributions to his local community through his work at the Co Op in Altha and Blountstown, as well as serving as a Calhoun County Commissioner for eight years, demonstrating his commitment to public service and civic engagement. His friends were near and far.
He is remembered fondly for the joy he found in spending time with family and friends, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever. Jeral possessed a unique sense of humor; his wit was unmatched, and he always had a joke ready to share, making him the funniest man in the eyes of many. His love for all animals, great and small, was evident in how he ensured that there was always food available for any creature that passed through his yard.
From an early age, Jeral showed a penchant for performance; at just five years old, public would offer to pay him to sing for them. He would happily break out in a song and collect his nickels and dimes. An occasional quarter was really special, and he might do 2 songs for that.
Jeral is survived by his loving family, including his sons Randal Hall and wife Sheila, and Richard Hall and wife Leanna. He is also survived by his sisters, Joyce Williams and husband Tom, and Thelma Sellers, as well as his sister-in-law Bonnie Hall. His legacy continues through his four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, along with eight nephews, Johnny, Jimmy, Timmy, Joey, Stevie, Ricky, Darryl, and Mark and three nieces Mary, Tina, and Trina. He will also be greatly missed by his loyal dog, Lola.
Jeral was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lora Hall; his brothers, Angus, Brady, and Wayne Hall; his brother-in-law, Al Sellers; his nephews, Tony and Troy; his great-nephew, Logan; and his sister-in-law, Ann.
A graveside service will be held in Jeral's honor on July 25, 2025, at New Shiloh Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his remarkable life. The service will begin at 10:00 AM, with remembrance from all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jeral Randal Hall leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter, compassion, and an indelible impact on the community and the lives he touched. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
