Jerald was born in Oneonta, Alabama, on November 6, 1947, son of the late Eslie Leon Jennings and the late Elsie Florine Beasley Jennings. Jerald was also preceded in death by his son, Eli Jennings; sister, Ann Butcher; and brother, Conray Jennings
Jerald was a graduate of Susan Moore High School, class of 1966, and graduated from Coosa Valley Technical College and earned his associates degree. Jerald was self-employed and repaired small engines. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend; he will be missed by all his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonwyn Jennings; daughters, Camille Herring (Eric), Lindsay Lucas (Marcus), and Tonya Musgrove (Jason); son, Quinn Jennings (Kara); sisters, Marie Mansanarez (Boyd), Bonita Ballew (Randy), and Gayla Brockman; brother Carl Jennings (Landra); 10 grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in the chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Pastor Marcus Lucas officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery, Cedartown, GA.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 12:00pm until 1:45pm.
